David Blocher established his private practice in 1993, focusing on probate and estate administration. He represents clients on various legal issues such as contested wills, guardianships, and estate litigation. He has also testified as a photographic and chemical expert. Before starting his practice, Mr. Blocher interned at the U.S. Attorney's office. He was employed by Siebel, Whipple and Schofield as an Associate, where he gained experience in probate and estate administration. Mr. Blocher received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wheaton College in 1970. In 1975, Mr. Blocher received his Masters in Education, summa cum laude, from Northern Illinois University. He graduated cum laude from John Marshall Law School in 1993. Prior to beginning his law career, Mr. Blocher also worked as an Army Photographic Officer, high school Audio-Visual Director, Teacher's Union Treasurer, an Industrial Chemist, and an EPA Compliance Officer.

Maria De Howitt earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA. Ms. De Howitt was awarded the DePaul Scholastic Achievement Award, the 2006 Equal Justice Works Grant and the Public Interest Law Association Scholarship. Ms. De Howitt interned at the Cook County Public Defender's Office and the Federal Trade Commission. Prior to entering law school, Ms. De Howitt served in the United States Air Force as a Reservist and worked in the non-profit sector. Ms. De Howitt is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
